Self-leveling polyurethane mortar, sprinkled with decorative quartz and sealed

The self-leveling polyurethane mortar, sprinkled with decorative quartz and sealed, has been specifically designed for flooring projects in the food industry. This type of flooring system has the advantage of being resistant to corrosive leaks, among other damaging factors, as well as to abrasion and high temperatures (up to +90 °C).

In terms of composition, the self-leveling polyurethane mortar is sprinkled with natural or colored quartz, and then sealed with another transparent polyurethane or epoxy coating. This is one of the factors that facilitate fast reinforcement after installation and which ensures its resistance to slipping. The final surface is also tough and solid, and this gives it stability and confirms it as an optimal flooring system for areas with heavy or abrasive traffic. The difficult working conditions in which such floorings can be used are not limited to those mentioned above, however. The self-leveling polyurethane mortar, quartz-sprinkled and sealed, is also suitable for use in areas where alkaline substances, grease, oils and other corrosive substances can come in contact with the floor – be it accidentally or less so. At the same time, the system is suitable for kitchens in any industry, having a pleasant decorative design.

EMS FLOOR SYSTEMS recommends installing this type of floor system especially in areas prone to thermal shocks, but not only in those locations. If you are still uncertain about the specific requirements for the food industry space you want to set up, our team can advise you in choosing the most suitable flooring.
