Self-leveling polyurethane mortar
This type of flooring is recommended for areas where work is carried out in difficult and heavy conditions, especially in terms of exceptional abrasion resistance, intense and repeated traffic, as well as requirements for increased adhesion to the support layer and optimal use at varying temperatures. Self-leveling polyurethane mortar is a flooring system applied in layers of varying thickness (between 2 mm and 6 mm) and is the most adequate solution for dry manufacturing areas or food packaging areas.
The product is characterized by high adhesion and high mechanical and chemical shock resistance. One of its special features is that the self-leveling polyurethane mortar has higher adhesion than the tear resistance of concrete, for example. The chemical, physical and compositional features of this system place it at the top of areas specific to the food industry. Some of its particularities include the thermal expansion coefficient, similar to that of concrete, which allows movement alongside the support under normal temperature variations. At the same time, it is resistant to high temperature intervals (ranging between -20 °C and +90 °C).
In what the finishing coat is concerned, it is a finely finished, smooth, matte surface, which is also resistant and durable.
