Membrane polyurethane system
Membrane polyurethane floor systems are one of the types of non-jointed and pore-free systems, after application or reinforcement. The surface is waterproof, crack-resistant, easy to clean, and has low maintenance costs. A special feature is elasticity, a membrane polyurethane flooring being specially designed and implemented in areas requiring increased resistance to traffic and wear.
Polyurethane flooring generally has the added benefit of not changing its appearance over time, even under intense trafficking conditions, as is the case of commercial public spaces. They are also viable, wear-resistant and impact-resistant solutions. These are monolithic, seamless flooring systems of variable thickness (1.7 mm-4 mm), displaying a range of antistatic properties. This is one of the main reasons for which EMS FLOOR SYSTEMS recommends the implementation of a membrane polyurethane system in areas such as: shopping centers, supermarkets, shops and other commercial areas with intense, frequent and sustained traffic.
